Native Instruments Download Again and Reinstall

  1. And then I've just updated my Mac to a new SSD and Mojave , this is a clean install, so I'thousand having to reinstall all my stuff again, luckily most None NI stuff I've still got the installers and updates.. but as we all know Native access downloads , installs and so deletes the installer.. all my audio files are on an external usb3 bulldoze, so luckily the Kontakt libs I've been able to rescue with the magnifying glass ready... Although this is a bit of hurting when you ain k12ce , but after an hour they are all dorsum working without the need to download anything, which is a adept start, if not perfect.

However I tin't come across any way to re-install the 50 expansions without re-downloading them all... Of course I could merely apply the samples, loops etc.. without installing, just then I'd miss out on the bombardment kits, massive sounds etc...

I however have access to the onetime bulldoze, so I'm just wondering if information technology'due south possible to copy things from in that location to my new drive? Or is in that location whatsoever other mode to go them back without re-downloading stuff I already have.

Some other event, although I've installed Kontakt 6 full version , and I can run into and use information technology as a vst, I do non have the stand up a lone version anymore in my applications ?? Did NI exercise abroad with that when not upgrading from v5? I know I had it on my old system, in fact I had 5 and 6 .. now I've only got V6 VST?

    Thanks Paul

  2. If yous installed your library to a separate drive in your last Bone build, earlier you install annihilation you can point Native Access to install in that location - it'll read what you've already got, and but install anything new/updated
  3. Hey Paul,
Unfortunately the relocate function is only bachelor for Kontakt libraries, for expansions, yous need to re download and reinstall.
About Kontakt, the standalone should exist installed on your reckoner, double check your user preferences in Native Access to see where the applications are installed.

  4. When is this going to get fixed? Thanks in advance for letting me know.
  5. I'm not even sure in that location's something to fix here, simply bear in heed that I could be mistaken because I never tried anything like this.

    Come across... here's the thing:

See? All individual expansions are listed in my library. See "Pure Drip", "Radiant Horizon" and "Platinum Bounce" in at that place? (if you happen to ain that last ane... "Cool Child kit" is awesome !).

So... I can't help wonder what would happen if yous were to add the installed folders to the Maschine library yourself?

  6. SheLUser is correct, the expansion packs work correctly even though Native Admission thinks they are not installed. That'southward not the problem. The problem is that more than than a small-scale number of incorrect entries in the Native Access "uninstalled" list becomes a major obstacle to managing your software.

I currently have virtually 90 libraries, plugins and expansion packs that Native Admission thinks are uninstalled. Until few days agone the number was nigh 175. Some are indeed uninstalled; some are products that I don't want to install (mostly considering I have more recent versions); and some are installed expansion packs that I can't merely relocate but would have to download all over over again. Since Native Access doesn't let you lot hide products (see iLok License Manger and iZotope's production managing director for examples of portals that do this), it's both time consuming and error prone to procedure a listing this long.

Native Access has its expert points. But information technology nonetheless needs (1) the ability to sort lists on any field, (2) the ability to filter lists, (3) boosted fields for developer name and user notes/comments, (4) a carve up tab for "hidden" products, and (five) repair/relocate for all products, not simply some.
